Grant a Gift Autism Foundation announced its new partnership with The UNLV Center for Autism, The University Nevada School of Medicine Pediatrics Dept and the new UNLV Medical School. For the first time in Nevada and, perhaps, for the first time most anywhere, medical research, diagnostics, clinical care, speech-occupational-behavior therapy, family support and education, public outreach and advocacy will be under one roof and one location. The synergism of all these organizations will enable extraordinary consolidation, collaboration, and coordination. The increased efficiencies will enable scientists to confer with clinicians, therapists, teachers, parents, counselors, and advocates all working side by side on the same issues from multitude perspectives.
As a partnership, we will be able to provide: Education of physicians and other health care providers to accelerate early detection and facilitate timely treatment
Outreach to parents and families to inform them of their options and alternatives.
A continuum of family centered care from childhood through the life span.
Stronger and more cohesive advocacy to help change public policy and provide adequate insurance coverage.

About the Organization: Grant a Gift Autism Foundation is a Nevada non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and community safety net that proudly serves children, youth and their families living with autism by providing diagnostic and treatment funding, support services, vocational training, transition planning, and education.
