Open Daily at dusk, November 9- January 6
Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway launched for its 18th season at a soft-opening on Thursday, November 8. The VIP/Media night welcomed out nearly 300 guests to celebrate another year of the award-wining holiday drive-thru light show. Guests included Human Nature, X Burlesque, the cast of FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, BMX rider Ricardo Laguna, comedy-magician Adam London, hypnotist Anthony Cools and Jhoanna Trias & Mitchell Langon from Discovery Channel's Survival Series "Men Women Wild."
Three time alumn to welcoming Glittering Lights, Human Nature returned to the headline Thursday night's event. They were joined by Nicole Unger and Luke Striffler of FRIENDS! The Musical Parody to launch the lights park by way of giant red button.
Zeniya Knight, a fifth year Future Dance Scholar, helped the band turn on the lights. Glittering Lights provides funding to Speedway Children’s Charities that helps support organizations like Nevada Ballet Theatre provide outreach programs for children like Zeniya. Nevada Ballet Theatre’s Education and Outreach programs touch the lives of more than 20,000 children in Clark County each year.

Santa Claus made a magical arrival to the lights in a horse-drawn carriage.
"We are so thankful to all of the lovers of lights that continue to return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway each year to celebrate such a beautiful season with us," said John Bentham, producer of Glittering Lights. "This holiday light show is about community, giving and creating memories, some of the things that make Christmas so special."
Continuing its 18-year tradition as southern Nevada’s premiere drive-thru light show, during the 60 days that the holiday light park is open, the show hosts different initiatives to support local charities, churches and schools. When people drive through millions of twinkling lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway the following community support includes:
Speedway Children’s Charities receives a portion of each ticket sold. In fact, Glittering Lights and the PJ5K make up more than half the donations the charity grants to more than 50 children’s charities in southern Nevada.
Goodwill of Southern Nevada collects clothing and household goods, transforming donated goods and monetary contributions into pathways to meaningful employment for Southern Nevadans in need.
When you purchase food and drink from concessions, area Boy Scout troops gain interpersonal, money management and leadership skills, along with earning money for camp and activities.
The award-winning, internationally acclaimed light park will be open every night from November 9 to January 6. Las Vegas Motor Speedway will house the holiday spectacular of 2.5 miles of over 3 million dazzling lights. About Glittering Lights
