 Valastro and his wife, Lisa, were joined by partners Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau at what was dubbed “Cocktails & Cake.” A five-tier confection designed with stacked Valastro’s cookbooks and a combo pizza (of course edible) was delivered from Valastro’s Carlo’s Bakery across the walkway. The gentlemen from Human Nature made it from the Sands Showroom to sing “Under the Boardwalk” as a surprise.

Before settling into your seat at The Nutcracker, you’ll want the entire family to enjoy NBT’s bonus experience: The Nutcracker Wonderland. Starring renowned singer, entertainer and author Linda Suzanne, the 85-minute Rockin’ Vegas Christmas Show will take the audience on an entertaining holiday journey with a unique Vegas spin, complete with 20-foot Christmas trees, Frosty the Snowman, candy canes, special guest appearances by Celebrity Magician Murray Sawchuck and Douglas Lefty Leferovich, costume changes, “sexy” Santa and an ensemble of gorgeous dancers, led by longtime Vegas dancer Dani Elizabeth.

ABOUT LINDA SUZANNE
Linda Suzanne grew up in Downey, Calif. and began her musical career in her teens, when she was invited to perform 45 minute sets with military bands at Officers’ Clubs throughout Southern Calif. When she was 18, she opened for Rosemary Clooney at the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix and shortly thereafter, went on to perform at the Miramar Theater in San Clemente, Calif., opening for The Righteous Brothers, Joni Mitchell and Leon Russell, among many others. She toured nationally with José Feliciano and Ricky Nelson.

Las Vegas credits include “Four Boys Four” with Jack Lemmon and Tony Randall, “4 Girls 4” with Rosemary Clooney, Margaret Whiting, Rose Marie and Helen O’Connell, “The Golden Years of Las Vegas” and “Flashback 77,” which were both written and produced by Linda Suzanne, and performing alongside many talented entertainers, including Liberace, Terry Fator, Murray Sawchuck, Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot), Ricky Nelson, Dizzy Gillespie, Jose Feliciano, Jackie Vernon, Rosemary Clooney, Margaret Whiting, Rose Marie, Helen O’Connor, Jack Lemon, Tony Randall, The Righteous Bros., Leon Russell, Joni Mitchell, Oingo Boingo and Asleep at the Wheel, among many others.

Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway launched for its 18th season at a soft-opening on Thursday, November 8. The VIP/Media night welcomed out nearly 300 guests to celebrate another year of the award-wining holiday drive-thru light show. Guests included Human Nature, X Burlesque, the cast of FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, BMX rider Ricardo Laguna, comedy-magician Adam London, hypnotist Anthony Cools and Jhoanna Trias & Mitchell Langon from Discovery Channel's Survival Series "Men Women Wild."
Three time alumn to welcoming Glittering Lights, Human Nature returned to the headline Thursday night's event. They were joined by Nicole Unger and Luke Striffler of FRIENDS! The Musical Parody to launch the lights park by way of giant red button.
 Zeniya Knight, a fifth year Future Dance Scholar, helped the band turn on the lights. Glittering Lights provides funding to Speedway Children’s Charities that helps support organizations like Nevada Ballet Theatre provide outreach programs for children like Zeniya. Nevada Ballet Theatre’s Education and Outreach programs touch the lives of more than 20,000 children in Clark County each year.

Santa Claus made a magical arrival to the lights in a horse-drawn carriage.
"We are so thankful to all of the lovers of lights that continue to return to Las Vegas Motor Speedway each year to celebrate such a beautiful season with us," said John Bentham, producer of Glittering Lights. "This holiday light show is about community, giving and creating memories, some of the things that make Christmas so special."
Continuing its 18-year tradition as southern Nevada’s premiere drive-thru light show, during the 60 days that the holiday light park is open, the show hosts different initiatives to support local charities, churches and schools. When people drive through millions of twinkling lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway the following community support includes:
Speedway Children’s Charities receives a portion of each ticket sold. In fact, Glittering Lights and the PJ5K make up more than half the donations the charity grants to more than 50 children’s charities in southern Nevada.
Goodwill of Southern Nevada collects clothing and household goods, transforming donated goods and monetary contributions into pathways to meaningful employment for Southern Nevadans in need.
When you purchase food and drink from concessions, area Boy Scout troops gain interpersonal, money management and leadership skills, along with earning money for camp and activities.
The award-winning, internationally acclaimed light park will be open every night from November 9 to January 6. Las Vegas Motor Speedway will house the holiday spectacular of 2.5 miles of over 3 million dazzling lights. About Glittering Lights

The 2018 Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic "FEAST"

The 2nd Annual Audi Henderson Lake Las Vegas Classic took place November 1-3 at Reflection Bay Golf Club and featured a welcome party, golf tournament, and a culinary and music festival called “The Culinary Fest” which featured over 15 local chefs, wineries, breweries, spirits, a silent auction, and one of the hottest dance bands in Las Vegas the “Spazmatics”. This year guests received a token upon check in to vote for one of their favorite restaurants of the evening.

FRIENDS! The Musical Parody at the D Hotel & Casino

FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, the comedic spin-off of the hit TV show that dazzled off-Broadway audiences, made its Las Vegas premiere at the D Las Vegas Hotel.
The show pokes fun, in a very playful way.
The cast of the show includes Chandler Jerod Perez (Marriage Can Be Murder) as Chandler, Erin Baltsar (Tony and Tina’s Wedding) as Monica, Luke Striffler
(The Kingdom Tenors from Britain’s Got Talent Season 9) as Ross, Nicole Unger (cast member of Disney Cruise Lines) as Rachel, Zac Greenwell as Joey, and Casey Weems
(of ABC’s The Proposal Season 1) as Phoebe. Jackson Tobiska as Gunther will round out the cast.
