American Lung Association Hosts ‘Breathe Fashion' Show & Dinner

The American Lung Association in Nevada Las Vegas (ALAN) held its fifth annual Fashion Show presented by ECCOCI , on Friday, June 19 at the World Market Center. The Breathe Fashion' Show & Dinner was hosted by Chert Buchanan. The event started of with a reception and silent auction, followed by a fashion show during dinner and concluded with a live auction.
Live Auction items included: Gotham by Peter Lik Fine Art Gallery, a VIP tour of a lifetime at the Alpha Omega Vineyard in Napa Valley, a SeaDream Difference 7- night yacht experience, a wined and dined seven course dinner for ten people, a BMW driving experience, Scotch Tasting, a private 4-course dinner, 40 bottles of select wines, a 7-day getaway to Utah.

“Sundown In Downtown”

The Natural History Museum hosted “Sundown In Downtown” an outdoor calypso party under the stars celebration, Friday, June 5, 2015. All proceeds of the attendees benefited the Museum. The party included small bites from favorite restaurants, signature cocktails, live bands and dj and strolling performers.

2015 NvRA Las Vegas Epicurean Affair




On Thursday, May 21 nearly 2,000 people gathered poolside at Palazzo to raise scholarship funds for high school students who may become the restaurant industry’s next rising star through the Association’s ProStart program. The Nevada Restaurant Association’s 2015 Las Vegas Epicurean Affair gave attendees the opportunity to sample dishes from 45 notable Las Vegas restaurants, and wash down the delights with beverages from more than 30 wine and spirits purveyors. Acclaimed visionary Jose served as the celebrity chef host for the evening and gave an impassioned speech about supporting the students who will be the future of the industry. Attendees continued the festivities with the official after party at TAO Nightclub.

Sad to see another Las Vegas Landmark gone, the "Rivera Hotel"

The Riviera hotel-casino officially announced it will close May 4 at noon.
The historic Las Vegas landmark was sold to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority for up to $191 million in February.
The Riviera celebrated its 60th anniversary on April 20.
