5th Annual Fashion for Autism Gala



Grant A Gift Autism Foundation held its 5th Annual Fashion for Autism Gala on Friday, October 24th at the Four Seasons Hotel. Over the past years, Fashion for Autism has grown into a wonderful event filled with great FUNDRAISING, FASHION and lots of FUN. It's an event where autism community heroes are recognized and fall fashions are debuted.


The event started of with a champagne reception and silent auction, followed by a dinner and live auction hosted by Master of Ceremonies, Chet Buchanan. The evening concluded with a fashion show by local Las Vegas Designers.





Honorees included: Scott F. Kavanaugh, Mario J Gaspar de Alba, M.D., FAAP, and Carrie Henderson.


Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) currently affects 1 in 68 children and is described as a complex disorder of brain development. People with ASD have varying degrees of cognitive functioning and intellectual capacity, difficulties in social interactions, verbal and nonverbal communication delays and repetitive behaviors with high sensitivity to changes in their environments. In many instances ASD is diagnosed with other conditions such as Down syndrome, ADHD and other developmental/genetic conditions.

2014 FRIGHT DOME


Kicking off the annual 2014 Fright Dome opening night was legendary horror star Sid Haig (Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses); famed Hollywood FX artist Gary J. Tunnicliffe (Gone Girl, Hellraiser, Halloween, Exorcist); Lead Paranormal Investigator/Executive Producer from Travel Channel’s Series “Ghost Adventures” Zak Bagans; Paranormal Investigator/Cameraman from Travel Channel’s Series “Ghost Adventures” Aaron Goodwin; Illusionist Dan Sperry; Dirk Virmin from A&E’s “Bad Ink”; renowned magician Lance Burton; Fright Dome owner and creator Jason Egan; and more .

This year's theme is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a theme that has been requested by Fright Dome fans for many years. Guests will be immersed in scenes from the iconic film, leaving them to fend off attacks from one of the most notorious chainsaw-wielding killers ever created, Leatherface. No corner is safe as guests fight their way through in hopes of escaping the cannibals in pursuit.
This year's Fright Dome features six haunted houses: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Isolation, Killer Clowns 4-D, Hillbilly Hell Offspring, Zombie Quarantine 2.0, and Dead End.
Four new scare zones: Redrum Zone, Dead West Zone, Hyper Charged Zone, Clown Overload Zone.
Live Shows, Park Attraction such as the new El Loco Roller Coaster in the dark, Limb Blaster, and more.
The Fright Dome has been ranked one of the top 4 scariest haunted attractions in the nation.
